Donna and I live
on 8.5 beautiful
acres in
Burleson Texas
in Johnson
County. We
have been
blessed with one
daughter, one
son and five
Grandchildren.
Donna and I have
owned bulldogs
since 1979.
Our mentors were
Bobbi and Press
Adams of
Richland
Springs, Texas
and have been so
blessed to be a
part of their
lives.
Donna and I
showed at 4 or 5
shows a year
from 1982 until
1992 then we
took time out to
raise our
children, and
returned to
showing in 1992.
Since 1992 Donna
and I have bred
and finished 14
bred by Champion
bulldogs 11 of
which we
finished
ourselves.
We are also
owners of 6
other bulldog
champions that
we finished out
of other
breeders lines.
Our kennel name
came to us when
people would ask
us about our
bullies and
given some
specifics of our
kennel their
reply was almost
always DO
WHAT!
thus we
arrived at
DoWats where all
letters are part
of my surname
and Donna's
given name.
We are very
proud of DoWats
Kennel which as
of today is
built around 6
generations of
our own bred by
line bred
bitches.
We are also
proud to be
members of the
BCA and the
Forth Worth
Bulldog Club and
our induction
into the BCA
breeders Hall of
Fame in 2004 as
well as proud
recipients of
the 2005 Beckett
Award on behalf
of our bitch Ch.
DoWats I'm All
That.
We are active in
judging for
specialty events
such as sweeps,
futurity's and
puppy matches
and are both
working on the
AKC judging
processes for
judging
bulldogs.
When asked about
our highlights
in the world of
bulldogs, we
both say we are
so blessed with
having met,
known, and call
so many
fine
Bulldoggers,
friends over
these many
years!
